The University of Illinois has a heritage of public engagement. Its faculty, staff, and students collaborate with external constituents to address needs and opportunities of importance in society. And, just as importantly, those needs and opportunities affect the research and educational agenda of the university. The Office of Public Engagement supports and facilitates a broad and diverse set of public engagement activities that link the campus to society.
