Celebrate Responsibly After A Great Basketball Season

To the campus and the community,

We all are proud of everyone connected with the basketball program, and we’re grateful for the excitement they have generated, both on campus and throughout the state.  Their hard work and commitment to excellence reflects well on our campus.

We’re also proud of the support that the team has received throughout the season.  Fans have treated one another with respect and we have not experienced the kind of violent “celebration” events experienced on a small number of other campuses. 

We ask that each member of our campus and our community help to ensure that whatever celebrations may take place at the end of the season be safe and enjoyable. 

The team has given us a wonderful season; they deserve to be celebrated with pride and with class.
